Frimley Green - Traffic Issues are Key - Cindy Ferguson12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Mon 1st Jun 2009
Liberal Democrat County Council Candidate Cindy Ferguson feels traffic issues are of key importance. Cindy told our website, "Most of you are not satisfied with the traffic flow around the village and, in particular, would support a one-way flow of traffic round the Green. Also, traffic flow needs to be improved around the One Stop Shop, under Sturt Road railway bridge and at the Henley Drive junction. I will liaise with County Transport Officers to get improvements. The poor state of our roads is another problem that needs addressing. Pot holes in our roads are more numerous than ever due to the inadequate management of the Highways contract. We will ensure that investment is increased and that contractors' work is properly monitored".
