Deepcut

The local Liberal Democrats in Deepcut have asked residents opinions about several matters in the past few months.

We have now received many returns and the results are as follows:

HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

9/10 residents agree with the Lib Dem position on development in Deepcut.

7/10 are prepared to accept further development in the Deepcut area.

8/10 consider the MOD's suggestion of 1700 new dwellings to be too many.

TRAFFIC CALMING

Views are split on satisfaction with the traffic calming scheme (road humps) on Deepcut Bridge Road. Under half are satisfied and would like traffic lights and just over half are dissatisfied and would not like traffic lights installed.

FARNBOROUGH AIRFIELD

9/10 residents agree with our position on Farnborough Airfield

3/10 are not impacted by the noise, 5/10 are a little affected and 2/10 are affected a lot.

4/10 would support 50,000 movements a year but 6/10 would not and 6/10 want a reduction from the current level.
